hello universe, my name is kira tejada.

My journey starts off in a small town north of Tkaronto (toronto, canada) which is the indigenous lands of the Chippewas of Georgina island first nation.

I’m a tattoo artist, and have been working professionally for 6 years. I studied at Ontario college of art & design university and got my bachelors degree of fine arts in illustration.

I’m Filipino-Canadian, non-binary, queer, and I go by they/them pronouns.

Since the pandemic, I had been very curious about my family history & ancestry. I developed a strong passion learning about my roots in Philippine history & culture.

It has become my mission to continue to honour the traditions of my ancestors, their struggle for liberation, and uplift the filipino community.
